Roof Deck & Lounge
The roof deck and lounge or “solarium” are among the very special assets of Penn Square. Occupying the entire top floor of the building, this area offers sweeping 360 views of the entire city, skyline and front range from Long’s Peak to Pike’s Peak. The outdoor area includes a walking/jogging track, beautiful flowers during season and a fountain that will hopefully function again one day when the drought issues ease. The Fourth of July is traditionally a gathering when dozens of Penn Square residents and friends come to watch the display of fireworks from one of the best vantage points in the city. The inside lounge encompasses an eastern, almost garden-like feeling sitting area, a northern area with tables, sofas and chairs and a western facing area with bar. While the interior can be reserved for private events, the area is available the great majority of the time for enjoyment by all residents.
